Continue south through the Middle Atlas Mountains toward the golden dunes of Merzouga, where a camel ride, desert sunset, and a night under the stars await. On the return, explore the dramatic Todra Gorge, the scenic Dades Valley, and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah before crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Your adventure ends in Marrakech, the lively Red City, where traditions and modern energy meet.
Day 1
Casablanca – Chefchaouen
Your 7-day Morocco tour starts with a welcome at Casablanca airport before heading north to the blue city of Chefchaouen. Along the way, stop in Rabat, the capital, to see landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Royal Palace. Then drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, famous for its blue streets and relaxed charm.
Day 2
Discover Chefchaouen with a local guide
Meet your guide at 9 AM for a walking tour of Chefchaouen. Explore its blue alleyways, the Kasbah Museum, and Outa El Hammam Square. Visit Ras El Ma waterfall, then hike up to the Spanish Mosque for stunning views of the town and Rif Mountains. End the day relaxing at your riad.
Day 3
Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, travel toward Fes with stops at Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman site, and Meknes, the former imperial city. Highlights include Bab Mansour gate, Sahrij Souani granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continue to Fes for an overnight stay in a riad.
Day 4
Guided tour of Fes
Spend the day exploring Morocco’s spiritual capital with a local guide. Discover the Medina, Al Karaouine Mosque and University, Bou Inania Madrasa, the Tanneries, and Najjarine Fountain. Later, visit the Royal Palace gate, the Mellah (Jewish quarter), and a pottery workshop before enjoying panoramic views over the city.
Day 5
Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga Desert
Journey south through the Middle Atlas, stopping in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Visit cedar forests with Barbary apes, then cross the Ziz Valley with its palm groves. Pass Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga. Enjoy mint tea, then ride camels across the dunes to watch the sunset. Overnight in a desert camp with dinner under the stars.
Day 6
Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake early to see sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, travel via Rissani to the dramatic Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise above a clear river. Continue through the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” and admire its unusual rock formations. Overnight in a guesthouse with dinner included.
Day 7
Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Drive through the Rose Valley to Kalaat M’Gouna, then on to Ouarzazate, home to film studios. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a famous movie location. Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping at argan oil cooperatives, before reaching Marrakech where your 7-day tour ends.
