Day 1

Arrival to Casablanca airport transfer to hotel

First and foremost, shuttles from Casablanca Airport to the hotel! In other words, depending on the time of your arrival, we will begin our Morocco Fossils.

Day 2

Casablanca – Timahdite – Midelt

After a morning breakfast at the hotel, we departure towards Azrou in the heart of the middle atlas. Then, we will have a Picnic in the cedar forest with the monkeys. Later, we head to the famous Michlifen extinct volcano rich in olivine and magna. Thus, we see the Jurassic site next to Timahdite rich in brachiopods bivalves and speriferes, if any time is lift we can visit cretaceous site rich in black shark teeth next to Bakrit. Thus, we end our evening at hotel in Midelt.

Day 3

Midelt – Sidi Ayad – Come back to Midelt (Geology trip)

After breakfast, we start for Mibladen mines, which are rich in barythe cerusite and vanadinites, but are difficult to find, and then on to Ahouli ancient mine, where we will see historic mining equipment. As a result, we have a picnic in the valley before heading to Sidi Ayad to collect azurite, malachite, and flurite before returning to the same hotel in Midelt in the evening.

Day 4

Midelt – Dinsour Bones Area – Erfoud

We will travel down to Ziz gorges to gather Jurassic brachiopods and bivalves, then to Ziz valley to collect Cretaceous cenomanian echinoderms cidaris micrasteres, then picnic in the valley before returning to Erfoud city. Evening amid the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 5

Erfoud area – Merzouga

We travel south through Merzouga to the Mifis mine, which was rich in laid and manganaise fifty years ago and is now desert except for the same miners seeking for enormous barytine. Then we go to the kemkem paleo-river beds, which are rich in fish, crocodiles, and dinosaur bones. Picnic there, then visit Filon 12, a historic mine rich in vanadinite, quartz, citrine, and other minerals. Then, in the evening, back to the same motel amid the dunes on a Devonian bed rich in rolled phacops.

Day 6

Merzouga – Camel Ride

Today, we return to Taouz and then visit the famed Kem Kem beds, which include rocks from the Cretaceous period. Spinosaurus and Carcharodonosaurus teeth and bones, as well as crocodiles, dinosaurs, and fish, have been unearthed here. Another site near Taouz includes Silurian, Devonian, and Ordovician strata with criniods with labolith. The Filon or Vein 12 mine, which was previously a lead mine, is now exploited for Vanadinite, Hematite, and Byrite, among other minerals, and is one of Morocco's most mineral-rich places. We return to Merzouga and stay in the same hotel as before. We have the option of spending the night in a desert camp and riding camels at sundown.

Day 7

Merzouga – Taous – Ouzina

Early morning departure to the south of Erg Chebbi, arrival at the Dinosaur teeth and bones mine in Ebagaa, then to Taouz to explore the antique city of Ouafilal and the desert artwork. After lunch, we'll take the mines route and see the Filon 12 mines, which produce iron, vanidit, barite, and galena. Hotel lodging and meal.

Day 8

Ouzina – Ramlia – Mharech

During the day, trilobite study along Algeria's boundaries, with the option of visiting another Jurassic location depending on timing. Mharch Oasis Auberge for lodging and meals.

Day 9

Mharech – Alnif

After breakfast, depart by mountain Djbel Issimour, also known as the Trilobites Mountain, to Alnif. We will look for Phacops trilobites at two different locations. Hotel meteorites for lodging and dinner.

Day 10

Alnif – Zagora

We will visit a big Orthoceras fossil mine on the Tazzarine road after breakfast, and then follow the track up to the old pre-historical drawing of Ait Ouazik. Zagora lodging and meal.

Day 11

Zaogra – Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou Kasbah

Today, we'll depart Zagora by driving via the Draa Valley. In other words, it is Morocco's longest river, running from the High Atlas Mountains to the sea near Tan Tan. Then, Ouarzazate is one of Morocco's most famous tourist attractions.

Day 12

Ait ben Haddou – Marrakech

Today, we will visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987. As a result, At Ben Haddou is a historic ighrem or ksar (fortified town) on the old caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in modern-day Morocco. Later, we drive to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains, Tizi N Tichka, with breaks along the way to see the grandeur of the mountains. Stay in Marrakech for the night.

Day 13

Marrakech city sightseeing tours

Today, we'll go on a guided tour of Marrakesh! With one of our native guides, the city may be the place that shows off all of Morocco's rich culture and charm. In other words, you can go to the Koutoubia mosque, which was erected in the 12th century, and the Majorelle Garden, which was created by painter Jacques Majorelle. Then, we'll see a lot of monuments, such the Saadian Tombs. This 16th-century graveyard is covered in mosaic tiles.

Day 14

Marrakech – Transfer to Casablanca Airport

Transportation from Casablanca to Mohammed 5 International Airport based on your flight time.
